Monty’s Last act was born from Jason Leon-Baptista’s deep connection and admiration for Montgomery Clift, the man and the actor. What began as an acting class character exploration has grown into a full-length screenplay that brings to life a complex story of one of Hollywood’s greats. While steeped in the lore of “Hollywood’s longest suicide,” Monty’s Last Act is a tale of hope, love and redemption. 

 

With these musings Jason Leon-Baptista dives in and explores various aspects of Clift’s life in preparation for his role as Monty.
